GREENWICH COMEDY FESTIVAL

Greenwich Comedy Festival makes a welcome return to the heart of Greenwich, South East London, this September in the brand new setting of the National Maritime Museum grounds.

Once again the festival will host a fantastic programme of comedy heavyweights including STEWART LEE, grouchy deadpan genius RICH HALL, one-liner maestro MILTON JONES, ventriloquist/comedian NINA CONTI, British Comedy Award winners CARDINAL BURNS, Father Ted star ARDAL O'HANLON, the irrepressible MARK THOMAS, lo-fi Irishman DAVID O'DOHERTY, puntastic Canadian STEWART FRANCIS and many more.

JUST ON SALE

This date at London's Heaven went on sale at 9am today (Friday 1st August) and if everyone else loves The Raveonettes' jangly guitar pop and call and response vocals as much as we do they won't be available for long.

Two sonic stallions from the Moshi Moshi stable canter around the counties, for a seasonal co-headline tour this winter. Two talented singer-songwriters, Sweet Baboo and The Pictish Trail are perfect touring buddies - be very excited about this tour.

JUST ON SALE

Punk rock royalty The Dead Kennedys announced this Oxford show earlier this week. With the gig just a fortnight away and demand extremely high we expect it to sell out fast - buy now or be disappointed.

Multi-genre explosion Melt Yourself Down and New York no-wave legend James Chance (The Contortions, James White and the Blacks), come together for an incendiary show this November at Village Underground, as part of Illuminations.

The Handsome Family

One of Britain's finest singer-songwriters, James Yorkston makes gorgeous melancholic alt-country/nu-folk for Domino Records. These dates in London, Liverpool and Brighton follow the release of an album of collaborations with other great players.

Techno legend Derrick May headlines this astonishing gig at London's Koko, which will also feature A Guy Called Gerald, Barem, Richard Fearless, French Kiwi Juice (live) and more. A staggering line-up should get electronica fans hot under the collar.

Having recently called time on a career that's seen the Jim Jones Revue tour the world several times over, the 50s influenced rockabilly punks head out for one final jaunt around the UK. Dates in Leeds, Brighton and Hebden Bridge are on sale now.

After a sell out May tour, The Handsome Family have announced a headline show at Islington Assembly Hall. With Far From Any Road having amassed over 2.3 million hits on youtube after featuring as theme tune to True Detective, expect tickets to sell fast.
