Details for 'Down at the Riverside' in Staines tomorrow:
As usual, the fabulous Jason French
& Ray Hutchings will be running the picking session, kicking off at 7.30
(running until 9pm) - so be sure to bring your instrument!
This will be followed by live performances from this months featured acts,
the wonderful 'Bluegrass
Staines' own "Hannah Cope" and topping the bill will
be one of the UK's finest bluegrass and Newgrass outfits "The Old Grey
Dogs".
Hannah Cope -
Hannah is a well seasoned musician and vocalist.
She has over 20 years experience as a semi-professional and professional
musician in the genres of blues, folk, country and of course bluegrass. Most
frequently playing in other bands this is a rare opportunity to catch Hannah
performing in her own right - Not to be missed!
The Old Grey Dogs - Three of the UK's most proficient
bluegrass musicians make up the trio that is 'The Old Grey dogs'. Their wealth of
experience and musicality encompasses everything the genre has to offer from
traditional and old timey styles through to the dynamic complexities of Newgrass. We are
absolutely chuffed to be able to bring this fine band of musicians to our club
night - guaranteed to entertain!

is the Staines
Riverside Club, only a 2-3min walk from Staines railway station
and plenty of free on-street parking & an onsite car park.
