Songwriter Huw Williams will be remembered by many as one half of the legendary folk duo Huw and Tony Williams. More recently, Huw has been a regular on BBC Radio 4. Multi-instrumentalist Maartin Allcock, formerly a member of Fairport Convention, has been freelance since 1997 and has made a name for himself as a fine session/supporting musician and record producer. Together, they offer an evening of foot tapping tunes and beautiful songs interspersed with entertaining anecdotes.

Hans Theessink has dedicated himself to American blues and roots music and is one of the most sought-after artistes on the international blues scene. His guitar work and sonorous baritone voice are unmistakable and through them Hans has attained a status unique for a European. He has 20+ CDs/Albums to his credit, has won many awards and is a noted songwriter. If you like blues then you?ll love the Euro-blues man!

 

SEPTEMBER 30TH ? TOM LEWIS

Tom Lewis was born in Northern Ireland and after 24 years in the Royal Navy is now resident in Canada's Rocky Mountains. He performs songs fashioned out of his own seafaring background, both traditional and his own compositions. Tom plays button accordion and ukulele, but it's his powerful vocal style, warm personality and infectious humour that keep audiences coming back again and again.
