Heart Of Wolves // Transmissions Jam Night //
The Gypskazz Collective // Hare And Hoofe // Dallahan
Good evening! We bring news from the revolving
doors of The Lighthouse.
This
week, we are to open a day earlier than usual to bring you a special
performance by the French duo, Heart Of Wolves.
Wednesday
24th September
Heart Of Wolves
Pub open
from 5pm // Live Music from 8:30pm
Free Entry
Heart of Wolves is the creation of C?lyne, French singer-songwriter
and multi-instrumentalist. Inspired by Bj?rk, Bat for Lashes or Cat
Power, the most immediate element is her voice. With every song and
story told, this young singer draws the audience into her folksy and
synth-pop landscapes.
Formerly known as Jabberwocky since 2011, there's a turning point in
2014 with a new name and a new member, Tristan, drummer and
percussionist, join the band and bring his sense of rhythm, which
play a large part in the evolution of the songs.
Come and support our wonderful French friends!

The Hare And Hoofe
Pub open
from 12pm // Music from 8:30pm
Free
Entry
Pull up a chair in the inglenook of The Hare and Hoofe. Drink.
Listen. Ghost ships. Hooden horses. Psychedelia. Fuzz. Our songes
will lead you through tales of olde England. Come, lose your minde.
What to expect when The Hoofe rides into your town? Tales of the
dawn of the Bronze Age, of fabled, neighing creatures, and simple
crustaceans. Your feet will move in mysterious ways, your hands
will clap, your brains will be frazzled.
Some describe them as ?educational psych', others prefer
?polytechnic beat', still more as ?a seventies garage band'.
There's certainly primeval drums, fuzz bass, lashings of guitar and
synth noises from another planet.
Formed from a gang of friends from Folkestone, Hoofe members have
played in groups including The Heliocentrics, The Priscillas,
Chalet and Hyperglo. Their experience shows in an assured,
phenomenal live show. Already stunning audiences in London, this
year, the Hoofe canter on, with a series of limited edition,
special single releases and their debut album.

Dallahan
Since they started in late 2013, Dallahan have exploded onto the

music and traditional Irish tunes and songs have secured their
presence at such prestigious international events as Milwaukee Irish
Festival in the USA. Dallahan met each other through local sessions
in Edinburgh and they are established performers of various musical
styles from classical and jazz to Balkan and Celtic. The members of
the band have toured extensively with groups as diverse as Kalman
Balogh's Gypsy Cimbalom Band, Larsa, Fianna, Samling, Tcha
Limberger, Riverdance and they regularly appear at festivals and
venues both in the UK and internationally. As individuals, they
have received various awards; Ciaran won the title of ?All Britain
Banjo Champion' in 2006, Jani won first prize at the ?1st Hungarian
Traditional Music Competition' and Jack was recently a finalist in
the ?BBC Young Traditional Musician Of The Year Award 2014? and as
a band, they have recently received an ?Emerging Excellence Award'
from Help Musicians UK. Dallahan is a breath taking musical journey
delivered by award winning musicians that is as much fun to listen
to as it is to play.
