Folk Fayre is a major new all day event celebrating the very best that
the British Folk Scene has to offer featuring several award winning local
and national acts well established on the folk and acoustic scene.
An exciting day of music, storytelling and workshops, London Folk Fayre
will be held at Cecil Sharp House, a few minutes walk away from
Camden Town, on Saturday October 4th. A family friendly environment with
onsite cafe, real ale bar, workshops and singarounds, the
day will be an ideal and affordable chance to enjoy the very best of
British Folk.
Artists appearing include Melrose Quartet, who were nominated for
best band in the 2014 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Flute and Concertina duo Brogan
and Orlaith McAuliffe, Hertfordshire based vocal trio Said
The Maiden, multi instrumentalists Long Lankin and winners of
the Horizon Award at the 2014 Folk awards, Greg Russell & Ciaran
Algar.
