WESSEX ACOUSTIC NEWS
What a night we had on Friday with charismatic Flossie Malavialle.
We all thoroughly enjoyed a touch of France, topped by a dollop of North
Eastern humour. Our opening artiste, Sophie
Wright, gave us a brilliant start to the night, along with
superb subtle accompaniment from Richard Wirdnam.
It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the
night. Thank you to all who came and made the night special.
Our next brilliant night of music and entertainment is on Friday
10th October at 8.15 pm featuring Ben
Sands, one of the mainstays of the famous Newry based Sands
Family. Ben has toured all over Ireland and most of Europe with great
success, but has only just turned his head towards England for a solo tour. We
are extremely lucky to be bringing him to you on this tour.
He is a polished singer, brilliant songwriter,
and blessed with the same sense of humour he shares with his brother Colum, but
the jokes and stories are his own!
Opening the evening we have the velvet voiced,
Bournemouth based singer-songwriter, Nigel Waite.
