The last few days of Canterbury Festival are upon us, and there's still time to experience the best the Festival has to offer before it's all over on Saturday night. Below are some of the events you can still get tickets for to join in on the Festival fun.

A String Quartet With a Difference

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stringfever are a fantastic quartet who will be appearing at Canterbury Festival tomorrow evening at Shirley Hall at 7.30pm This electric group perform their unique style of music on five and six string custom built electric violins, viola and cello, in a potent mix of music and comedy. If you enjoyed the MozART Group's performance at the Festival a few years ago, this is the perfect show for you, with tickets still available.

Stones & Bones: Archaeology Comes to Life

 

 

 

 

 

 

We've had a fantastic programme of half term events so far in the Spiegeltent at 2pm each day, Tomorrow, Stones & Bones courtesy of Squashbox Theatre are taking over the Spiegeltent. Squashbox's unique storytelling, with puppetry, live music and slapstick galore, will bring archaeology and fossils to life in a whole new way. Tickets are available online and on the door.

The Gentleman Juggler, The Showman, Mat Ricardo

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mat Ricardo is a juggler with a difference. His performance, Showman, coming to the Spiegeltent tonight at 7pm will be set to astound and wow audiences. With limited tickets still available, this Festival appearance by Mat comes after a spectacular performance at Marcel Lucont's Cabaret Fantastique at the beginning of this year's Festival. French Bon Viveur Graces Canterbury Once More

 

 

 

 

 

 

Marcel Lucont, the French raconteur with a difference, is returning to the Festival on Friday evening after a spectacular appearance on opening night with his Cabaret Fantastique. His solo show, Is, is set to delight with his musings on morality, mortality and masculinity; after all, he is a multi-award deserving comedian. His show starts at 7pm, priced ?12, available online or on the door (booking fees apply).

Final Festival Fun

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Festival's final night is set to be fantastic; with a very-near sell out in the Cathedral with the Canterbury Choral Society and Sir Willard White performing Mendelssohn's Elijah.
There are tickets available for events at the Spiegeltent on Saturday; see below for what's on.

7pm sees Tina C return from her dazzling 2013 Festival appearance. Her unique country song stylings delighted and entertained audiences last year, and are set to do the same this year on Saturday. Her performances will be life changing - she guarantees it!

9.30pm sees Americana  band Danny and the Champions of the World play out our Spiegeltent in signature style. Their songs, full of a unique blend of blues, country, gospel and rock, will be a fantastic treat for all tastes.

And the Spiegeltent will be open until late on Saturday with fantastic DJs playing; come and dance away the night and the Festival until 2am.
