LITTLE OPRY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL - SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER 2014 

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present the fabulous FOGHORN LEGHORN .....

...a disparate bunch of oldishyoungish blokes who share a love and great fondness for each other, music, humour, women, beer and bluegrass not necessarily in that order. They've been together for nearly 20 years which shows if you've seen them.    A beautiful and string thing with banjo, mandolin, dobro, upright bass, guitar and fiddle plus sweet and sour Appalachian/North London harmonies.  And DJ Poco spins more strings thru out the night to make the bluegrass bedoir swing.  They like gossip, whiskey and taxis.  Occasional buses, chips, jokes ranging in quality, memory uncertainty.  They are Tim Kent (banjo), Eamonn Flynn (mandolin), Uncle Kev O'Neill (dobro), Del Brooks (guitar), Chris Clarke (double bass), Paul Fay (fiddle).  They all sing.

And who knows what shenanigans on open mic.  And maybe a mince or something.

Meet in Fin Bar upstairs from 6.30 pm.  Starts 7.30pm
