Today we host two
events! Details as follows:
Geoff Everett Band
8:30pm // FREE ENTRY
Saturday's evening session will feature The Geoff Everett Band.
They are a power R&B trio from Kent/South East London. Geoff is
a guitarist and vocalist with stunning style. His playing is
aggressive and beautiful with imaginative dynamics and articulate
grammatical soloing. His performance is gutsy and very
exciting.
There really are very few of the names big in
rock/blues & even folk that Geoff hasn't played with over the
years, and indeed the musician list on Geoff's albums does read
like a who's who of the English music scene!
Carol Singing, Meg Janaway, Poggy Hatton, Joe Jones,
Mimi O'Halloran
Pub open
from 12pm // Live music from 2pm // FREE ENTRY
Starting from 2pm, there will be festive carol singing from a
selection of familiar Lighthouse performers. The stage is then
handed over to local singer Meg Janaway for a set of her
self-written soulful folk songs.
Poggy Hatton will take to the stage at 3:15pm. Her music is an
original blend of soul, folk, jazz and world rhythms.
The afternoon session continues with Joe Jones at 4pm. Joe is an
award winning blues singer, poet and traveller. He plays from the
heart and will dip into his country and jazz repertoire.
The afternoon session concludes with Mimi O'Halloran
