the usual round of workshops and sessions... the next (free)
song workshop is at The Gun, Horsmonden, on Tuesday 7th from
8pm. We'll be working on three old songs, and I can promise a
good sing!

Sunday night session at the Gun is THIS SUNDAY and will be led
by terrible twins Mick and Martin, as we're away. If you can

April

Well, that was an amazing
weekend thanks to everyone who came and particularly our various
guest performers and visitors - we're still getting over our
exertions and excitements, and we're not alone.
But never fear - we'll be organising another dance for the autumn,
and might pack in a surprise or two...
This month's big event is
Mike Hebbert's appearance at the Frittenden session on the last
Sunday of the month at 8pm. His last visit a couple of years back
was mightily entertaining, and it will be great to see my friend
and longstanding musical hero once again. So please tell your
friends - particularly those with an interest in concertina
playing, and those who remember Mike's contribution to the legendary
'Kicking Up The Sawdust' album.
Next week brings the usual first Tuesday and second Wednesday song
and tune workshops (the calendar just works out that way).
