Sunday 3rd May

Bank Holiday Weekend

Jus a reminder that the club will be closed this Sunday as it is a holiday weekend but there is still music at The Olde Rose And Crown Theatre Pub.

From 12 noon on Sunday to 12 noon on Bank Holiday Monday the "Stow-a-Thon" will take place in the pub. 24 hours of non stop music provided by many of the regular musicians and events that take place in the pub throughout the year plus other musical visitors.

This glorious bank holiday event is a sister event to the main Stow Festival, and this year will be raising money and awareness for local charity The Limes, a community children's centre for disabled children.

The folk club will be taking the 2.45 to 4.15 slot in the pub on Sunday afternoon and will feature the club's regular singers. Come along and support the event and if you can't manage it when we are there then get there sometime during the 24 hour period.

Sunday 10th May

Lester Simpson at Walthamstow Folk

We are back the following Sunday in our usual space with Lester Simpson

One third of legendary trio Coope, Boyes and Simpson, Lester is a world class songwriter and singer in his own right.

This is a rare opportunity to see him as a solo performer.
