FORTHCOMING GUESTS:

MAY 5TH ? KATHRYN ROBERTS & SEAN LAKEMAN
(
http://www.kathrynrobertsandseanlakeman.com/)

Kathryn & Sean first came to notice in 1995, Kathryn in a duo with Kate Rusby and Sean as one of the Lakeman Brothers. As a duo they play both traditional English folk and contemporary music, including their own compositions. Kathryn is a delightful singer who plays piano, flute, clarinet and sax. Sean is one of the finest guitarists and arrangers on the scene and frequently works with his brother, Seth Lakeman. In 2013 they were voted best duo in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

MAY 12TH ? CLOUDSTREET TRIO
(
http://www.cloudstreet.org/)

Nicole Murray and John Thompson have both played in various line-ups, first coming together as a duo in 1997. Nicole plays flute, tin whistle, guitar and violin, and is a fine writer of songs and flute tunes. John plays guitar, English concertina and whistle. Over the years they have toured extensively in the UK and have a big following. This time they are returning as a trio, with special guest Emma Nixon (fiddle) who joined them on their latest album ?Clouded House?. This is an act not to be missed!

MAY 19TH ? JEFF DAVIS (USA) & BRIAN PETERS
(
http://www.jeffdavisoldmusic.com/index.html & http://www.brian-peters.co.uk/index.html)

Brian and Jeff have been performing together off and on for 16 years. Brian?s music is essentially English folk, while Jeff?s is often categorised as American Old-Time, but they share a love for traditional music and work intuitively as a duo. Both are multi-instrumentalists and their voices blend beautifully in harmony. A concert might include ballads from the old world or the new, sea songs, cowboy songs, and all kinds of instrumentals, often featuring the unusual combination of concertina and mandocello.

MAY 26TH ? KIERAN GOSS
(
http://www.kierangoss.com/KieranGoss_homepage.html)

Kieran Goss is one of Northern Ireland?s leading singer songwriters. He began gigging as a law student at Belfast University and this led to support slots for the likes of Christy Moore and Elvis Costello. A successful album followed and Mary Black soon covered two of his songs. However, it is live on stage where he really shines with an ?amazing ability to reach out and connect with an audience?. Tonight he is joined by Annie Kinsella, his wife, on vocals.
