There is an additional Egerton Folk Club event in June, with an event in Bethersden (5 miles east of Ashford on the A28), where we would really welcome some extra support from performers, since some us are booked elsewhere that day. Please see the details below…

SPECIAL NOTICE – ALL MUSICIANS AND SINGERS PLEASE HELP

On Saturday 13 June from 6pm to dusk, Bethersden Scout and Guide Group are organising a 'For one Night Only' special fundraising evening in aid of a new hut floor.  This will be at Tearnden Farm, Smarden/Bethersden Road, Bethersden TN26 3HE. From the A28 from Ashford end, at the Bull Inn at Bethersden,  turn right into Bull Lane, go past Pot Kiln lane on the left and continue about 1 mile; Tearnden farm is first on the right. Parking available.  There will be plenty of food, Pimms, ale, soft drinks and ice cream.  The aim is that members of Egerton Folk Club and any other musicians that can support us will provide the music – it will be very informal , a few numbers each musician/band - so please confirm to Lois Tilden, Egerton Folk Club, on 01233 756 221/07703 471 225 that you can join in. Musicians and singers will be given free food and drink!
