Subject: Upcoming Show Tuesday 30th June
Dear All
A very big thank you to those who turned up last Wednesday
to support Doug Macleod. I was slightly worried about the
temporary change from the normal Tuesday, however, as it turned out, a
successful and thoroughly enjoyable evening. As predicted the artist was
utter quality - a consummate musician who, through sheer talent, produced an
incredible sound as though there were several people playing (that's without
using a single electronic effect) and an all round entertainer of outstanding
ability.
This month, on Tuesday 30th June, we have
another corker of a show being the return of Steve (West) Weston and
his band after a long absence from the club. Steve is an all time
favourite and needs no introduction other than to say that he ranks worldwide
as one of the finest blues harmonica players alive and takes that nostalgic
swinging style of blues to the ultimate. A great evening in store.
Tickets £12, pay on the door. Bookings to me at the
return email address. Doors open 7.30pm, band on stage 8.45pm. Good
food, reasonably priced, available to eat at your table if required. Further
information, location map, etc. at www.bottleneckblues.com.
So, that's the West Weston Band appearing
on Tuesday 30th June.
I look forward to seeing you there.
