Subject: This weekend and beyond...at Le Q...
Dear lovely customers, so Summer appears to have arrived what better to kick
back and enjoy it by sipping a home-made Bellini in our tropical garden,
lovely!
It?s been a very busy week at ?Le Q towers? (lots of top acts/bands arranged
read on for firther details) but before I go on to let you know what we?ve
been up to, this weekend beckons.
Tonight, Mr Pete ?Tiger? Sheppard is with us, playing with accordionist, Karen
Street. As usual, music tonight is free, if you?re with us by 8pm. Email me,
or call us, if you wish to make a reservation; we?ll be busy! Tomorrow and
Monday, The Gypsy Dynamite are playing back to back concerts, with special
guests. On Sunday, Greg Miller is joining the Dynamite; he?s the UK Blues
Harmonica champ! So along with their usual party atmosphere, enjoy the fusion
with the harmonica! Again, I expect we?ll be busy as these Italian boys are
establishing quite a following but remain loyal to Le Q. Here?s the booking
link as tickets in advance are essential

Here?s some other highlights to look out for:
Sunday 15th June: From the Netherlands, it?s the Busquitos! They?re visiting
from Europe; let?s give them a great audience.
Thursday 18th June: Three bands; two stages what an event! A musical medley
featuring Dear Joy, The Tarot Ensemble and the hugely popular, festival
favourite ?Tankus the Henge? Trio. Tickets are only £12 for three
bands....Thursday night is the new start of the weekend, so get in on the
action!
Katarina Gadjanski & The Gypsy Fever Quartet return to Le Q on 21st June
will take you on an amazing journey across the former Yugoslavia and eastern
Europe, with traditional folk and Gypsy songs. Their last visit was a sell out
so advance tickets are an essential.
Cafe Django returns in September...make a date in your diary for Thursday 24th
September. Peter Golding?s Cafe Django Hot Harmonica Swing Band will return
for the Autumn season, putting the Party back into Thursday nights! The first
party night featuring vocalist Tammy Weis; well known on the London jazz
scene. Again, booking tickets (only £7!) is essential.
THE BIEL BALLESTER TRIO, from Spain come home to Le Q in November (Sunday 8th
and Monday 9th)....check the dates out on our website, and get in quick whilst
tickets are available. For any Spanish guitarists out there, Biel will be
holding a master class too!
To lead celebrations for Django?s birthday in January, we have kidnapped
French Gypsy Master, Aurelien Bouly; he?ll be with us 17/18th January 2016!
And for Valetines and Le Q?s Birthday, we have a very special weekend planned!
Fleur de Paris will be with us on Saturday 13th February for the usual lovers
soiree and then following their extremely successful weekend here a few weeks
ago ?THE ROSENBERGS; MASTERS OF SWING?, Mozes, Johnny and Sani will return for
concerts on February 14/15th.
Tickets are on sale for all events but this is advance notice that these
events will sell out! You can see a video of the sound check from the
Rosenberg concerts here:
