Subject: Finalist of The Voice at Hailsham Pavilion, Sunday 21st June

Singer-songwriter Sally Barker has been performing for over thirty odd years and has shared the stage with the likes of Bob Dylan and Robert Plant.

In April 2014 she appeared in the final of The Voice UK, where she was consistently championed by her mentor, Sir Tom Jones.

Sir Tom told Sally after her "blind" performance "it was just full of emotion, so beautiful that I couldn't help myself, you swept me off my feet".

Sally didn't win the overall competition but she did come a respectable second and gained many fans with her flawless performances.

Let me know if you still have dry eyes afterwards!!!

Sally comes to the Hailsham Pavilion with the reformed six piece band, Fotheringay, which was originally fronted by the legendary Sandy Denny, whose cult status continues to deepen and her songs seem to transcend the decades.

The band still has some of its original members and helping Sally with the vocals is Kathryn Roberts, who along with her regular partner Sean Lakeman were winners in the Best Duo category at the BBC Folk Awards.
