Wednesday 10th June
JAZZ AT THE TOM THUMB
8pm, ?8

Our special guests this month are Phil Smith on alto and Paul Cheneour on flutes.Phil cut his teeth in the County Youth Jazz Orchestra and was a stalwart of legendary local funk band EK1. Current projects include the Funky Monkeys and his own Big Band. Paul is also an immensely talented, experienced musician involved in a wide range of musical ventures. For many years he ran the Zen Bicycle Band playing an eclectic mix of free-form jazz and World Music. He also performs with the Aeona Flute Quartet, the Paradise Flute and Strings Quartet and in a duo with table player Dilly Meah.

Last time these two got together at the Tom Thumb they took the place apart so another great evening's music is in store. Those ever-reliable men of rhythm, Tony Hudd on guitar and Harry Cook on double bass, will also be in attendance.
