Clan Hannigan
Summer News
Hello, it's
been a while since we sent out a newsletter, but better late than
never! In the summer heat, Steafan has spent most of the summer
building sets for 4th Line Theatre in Millbrook, another thing I
have discovered he is really good at. He has also gone a lovely
shade of dark, which doesn't happen to the Irishman very often.
Eile has also been working on props at 4th Line Theatre, and doing
lots of babysitting.
Ayisha has been on a month long drama camp and I think found her
vocation.
Oisin is apprenticing as a chef at Harden & Huyse in Cobourg
with Chef Z. He has bought an e-bike with the money and found
freedom. He's just joined the Cobourg Pipe band to improve his
drumming, and has his first professional gig without the family, at
Musideum on August 25th with the
singer/pianist Sandra Taylor. He is also on his way to building a
forge in the back garden. AND he has started singing at gigs!
Saskia has been playing loads of weddings and garden parties with
string quartets and teaching on summer camps.
There are some interesting gigs coming up, hope you'll join us and
some of them! And don't forget about the teaching - there is always
teaching!

Shmooosic House Concerts
The last two years, we have
hosted house concerts. This year has been too busy, but we're
starting up again. On Monday 10th, we have the band Four Winds
from Ireland.
Email me if you want tickets - $20 each.
In October, we're hoping to have Blackie O'Connell and Cyril
O'Donoghue back.
Who knows who else will pass through Northumberland County.
