Subject: Correction to English Folk Dance and Song Society announces Gold Badge recipients

Attachments: Gold badge awards.pdf

Please note that the news release 'English Folk Dance and Song Society announces Gold Badge recipient' released on August 20 contained an error regarding the biography for Rollo Woods.

Rollo did not write 'A Handbook of Morris Dancing' as stated, known to all as the 'Black Book',

but

provided some of the music for the book from his personal collection, including versions of tunes from the Journals of the

Travelling Morrice.

Please find a corrected version attached. ?We apologise for any confusion.

Regards,

Jo?
