The Lighthouse Kitchen presents:
The Cuisine Of Vietnam & Cambodia
Serving
from 7 - 9:30pm
Chef Paul will be delighting us this month with food from the East.
Celebrating the cuisine of Vietnam and Cambodia with their
distinctive character drawing on many different influences from local
ingredients like lime leaves and five star anise to the spices of
india or the baguettes introduced by colonial France. Curries from
theses countries are traditionally served with dill and eaten
alongside pickled vegetables and rice or baguettes.

Cambodian Saraman: Cardoman and ginger beef curry with peanuts
or
Vietnamese Cari Chay: Aubergine, coconut and lime leaf curry
Comes served with pickled vegetables and sweet and sour chili salad,
rice and bread.

FREE ENTRY
On Saturday, young local band Gentlemen of Few
will take to the stage. The Kentish, BBC Radio 2 Folk Award
Finalist, ' 'Nu-Grass' band, fuse an old time bluegrass sound
with a hard rocking, youthful English vigour.
A live show from this band always promises heaps of energy,
with impeccable harmonies and song craft way beyond their
years.

This amazing trio of virtuosic musicians will take you on a journey
of music from all over Europe. They specialize in energetic
performances - think Hot Club de France, think Reinhardt, think
Grappelli, a touch of klezma and dash of Eastern European folk, all
performed with a few humorous tales.
The trio is made up of Kevin Van Staeyen on violin and vocals,
Jokke Schreurs on guitar and Chris Mentens on bass.

Elliot Galvin Trio
Exploring the possibilities of the traditional piano trio line-up
with a sense of playful experimentation, the group play original
material written by Elliot. The band effortlessly juggles a number
of musical worlds as the realms of classical, jazz, popular and art
music all make an appearance. They never fail to deliver a
performance, which perfectly balances technical virtuosity, a
healthy dose of fun and playfulness, as well as moments of
captivating beauty.
Plus ?. We are pleased to
announce the inclusion of the Reggae Roast! Delicious
tastes of the Caribbean mixed with the traditional English roast
dinner, at an incredible price of ?7.50! Chef Tyrone will be
serving you from 12pm. Relax and eat while enjoying some reggae
tunes at a volume that is proven to aid digestion and stimulate
taste buds.
