Recruiting for Meitheal Cheoil music classes

North London for September 2015

We are now recruiting for new Meitheal Cheoil music classes starting in September

including brand new beginner children's classes in fiddle, banjo, mandolin and whistle.

We are also expanding our adult classes (all these instruments plus flute)

at beginner and intermediate/ advanced levels

(please note that current adult beginner classes on fiddle and banjo/ mandolin have only

completed one year, if you're someone who made a start a long time ago

and haven't touched the instrument for years - this level might be suitable for you).

Lots of fun music making ahead for 2015/16.

If you are interested in or would like to find out more about our classes please reply to this email.

Tutors: Karen Ryan and Kathy Walton.

John Doyle

In concert at the London Irish Centre

50-52 Camden Square, London NW1 9XB

7pm, tickets: ?12/ ?10 concession

John Doyle is not only a fine singer but more importantly, an imaginative and original

songwriter who really grabs audiences with his ability to tell a story through song. Coupled

with his high standing as one of the best acoustic guitarists around, this makes for a

memorable evening's music.

?Doyle on guitar has risen to a level occupied by him alone. No one in Irish traditional music

is a better guitarist than him right now. ? In addition, his vocal delivery and his songwriting

have never been more impressive.'
