In the 6 years since they formed, they have been regulars at
Maverick Americana festival, and gigged extensively on the

Friday 18th September
Rainbow
Girls
Pub open
from 5pm // Live Music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
On Friday, The Lighthouse stage will welcome a band on tour from
California, USA.
Rainbow Girls is a group of female musicians who write and perform
original material with roots in folk, Americana, gypsy, funk, soul,
and rock n' roll.
Born in an underground open mic night, they began as an acoustic
act, busking around the farmers markets of Santa Barbara before
hitting the streets of Europe for a summer of couch surfing,
busking, and traveling by the skin of their teeth.
In addition to their soaring harmonies, the ladies switch back and
forth amongst a multitude of instruments including electric guitar,
accordion, harmonica, banjolele, bass, keys, ukulele, kazoo,
djembe, and drums. Expect an electric, foot stomping, spectacular
show, complete with plenty of mayhem.

by the texture of the guitar, harmonica and double bass.
