I will keep this mail short & sweet, and just regarding the wonderful music we
have planned for you. Headlining events over the next few months or so include
performances from PAULUS SCHAFER, TIM KLIPHUIS, GARY POTTER & LOLLO MEIER! It
would be great to see you all over the coming months!
So, starting with this weekend:
Tonight, Stu Blag?s Trio Nuage Neuf his ever popular quartet is here in
downtown SW11! And tomorrow (Saturday), some cool jazz from those jazz guitar
masters, Charles Alexander and Andy Robinson!
Sun 20 Sept: KATARINA GADJANSKI & THE GYPSY FEVER ENSEMBLE.....will take you
on an enchanting musical journey across ex-Yugoslavia, bringing you soulful
folk & Gypsy music from all over this region (starting in Serbia via Bosnia
and Macedonia to the coastal line of Croatia). Although born in peoples
sorrow, the celebratory nature of the folk & Gypsy music of Yugoslavia defies
the difficult and marginal existence of the war-torn country, a country that
now exists only in its beautiful traditional music.
Heads up, you?ll need to book in advance as these guys frequently sell out!

Mon 21 Sept: HARP BAZAAR! Yup, Gypsy Jazz and the Harp! Intrigued? Well last
time they played here, we were intrigued how Django?s Jazz Manouche sounds

Thurs 24 Sept: Its mid week party time again! The winter is nearly upon us,
and it?s time to party in style with Peter Golding?s CAFE DJANGO. His hot and
sizzling Harmonica swing band are back with the amazing & beautiful Tammy
Weis. I guarantee tickets will be like gold dust, so you?ll need to get in
quick to book. If you?ve ever been to a previous Cafe Django gig, you?ll know
what a great time everyone has!
Sun 27 Sept: MANIERE DES BOHEMIENS are travelling from up t?north to entertain
you and wet your whistle with high quality improvisations from Django and
Grappelli. Booking essential.
Mon 28 Sept: THE SWINGING GARCONS return for their third show at Le Q. We love
these guys and dolls, so come along and support them. Details online.
Wed 30 Sept: Our world music series continues with AMA BAZAR! Come and see
this highly skilled ensemble play Klezmer, tango, salsa and some flamenco!
Thurs 1 Oct: THE PAULUS SCHAFER TRIO. Gypsy royalty descends on London. Be
sure to bag yourself the hottest tickets in town, they?re flying off the
shelves...now that?s a warning....so get in quick!
Sun & Mon 4/5 Oct: GARY POTTER?S HOT CLUB QUARTET is in town. Regarded as the
UK?s foremost Gypsy swing guitarist, Gary is bringing his magical quartet to
Le Q, including Nils Solberg on rhythm guitar, Riverdance?s violin vixen,
Noreen Cullen, with top bass-man, Andy Crowdy.
