Five successful years with Fairground Attraction followed by an enduring solo career, Eddi Reader
is the recipient of three BRIT Awards and has topped both the album and singles charts - Perfect!
She started her career as a session backing vocalist for such artists as Alison Moyet, Annie Lennox, Eurythmics and The Waterboys, before meeting Mark E. Nevin and going on to form Fairground Attraction, whose album "The First of a Million Kisses" won the best album award at the 1989 Brits......it also spawned the No 1 hit single "Perfect".
Since then, she has recorded ten solo albums, including the 2003 classic "Songs Of Robert Burns", collected an MBE for outstanding contributions to the arts in 2006 and has effortlessly developed into one of popular music's most thrilling and affecting performers.
