Now onto more details of this week's events ...

Thursday 5th November

Classic Pub Night

Open from 5pm

Come in and see what fresh ales and beers we have on, as selected by James.

No live music tonight (unless anything crops up between now and then!), but we'll have some sounds as selected by the staff.

Saturday 7th November

The Native Oyster Band

Pub open from 5pm // Live music 8:30pm

FREE ENTRY

The band conjure up a carnival atmosphere with their stomping New Orleans sound. They incorporate an impressive array of horns, keys, bass, drums and vocals that'll get your blood racing and your body moving.

Come and and experience Mardi Gras on the East coast of Kent in November!

Friday 6th November

Effra

Pub open from 5pm // Live Music from 8:30pm

FREE ENTRY

They are an instrumental folk trio comprising of Aidan Shepherd on accordion, Alex Bishop on guitar and Tom Newell playing fiddle and mandolin.

Their sparkling, contemporary take on roots music is sometimes likened to acts such as Spiro and more locally, bands like Arlet. This might not come as a surprise as Aidan is also a member and the main composer of the latter.

This is a chance to catch this trio as they embark on a UK tour. You can expect a mixture of virtuoso musicianship and playful experimentation.

Sunday 8th November

Thomas Ford
Pub open from 12pm // Music from 4pm
FREE ENTRY

Join us for the weekly ?Sunday Service' at The Lighthouse. The doors will open at 2pm, with live music to commence from 4pm.

This week's service brings you ?
