- Tunes workshops on
the 11th November (second Wednesday) and 25th November from 8pm
at the Gun and Spitroast, Horsmonden. Again we'll be
practising for the dance at Frittenden on the 28th November. See the tunes workshops page for the updated

- Please tell your
friends how great the Frittenden dances are, and to encourage
them to buy tickets - we've never quite sold out but it could
happen. For tickets, please email me at gmatkin_at_gmail_dot_com Tickets are £7
and £4 concs for children, benefits, pensioners etc
- The next carol
practice is in Marden and will take place at Geoff Burr's house
from 8pm on Monday the 23rd November. Like the last one at
Horsmonden, it will mainly focus on the ones we already know (see them here), but we have some
new ones coming... Email me or call me at gmatkin_at_gmail_dot_com
if you'd like to come to the Marden practice and don't know
where it is... After the amazing first carol practice at
Horsmonden last week, I think we're going to have a great time
this Christmas - so do tell your friends!
- 28th November - songs
and tunes (and probably an early carol or two) in the Bell &
Jorrocks function room 2-5pm. From what I've hearing
about the singers who are coming (Peter C, the Pettos, Joe
Waters, Don Baines to name a few as well as our scheduled
visitors ), I think we can look forward to a great
afternoon...
- 29th November -
end of the monthy mixed tunes and songs session from 8pm at
the Bell & Jorrocks, Frittenden, this time featuring our
great friends Annie Dearman and Steve Harrison
And
speaking of Christmas... the last Sunday session at Christmas with
Peter Collins is on the 27th December and - unusually - will be at the West End
Tavern, Marden, not the Bell & Jorrocks (this is
because the Bell is closing early that night!)
