Saturday 5th December
Jet
Cohen & The Aerials
Pub open
from 1pm // Live music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
The band performs an original blend of deep groove funk, rock and
blues. Members of the band have played along side the likes of
Wilco Johnson, Boy George, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Robert Wyatt
and Ian Dury.
Their hard grooving sound of guitars and drums is laden with lots
of bass, accented with the unlikely, but welcome addition of
trombone.
Deal

Friday 4th December
Bruise
Pub open
from 5pm // Live music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
Their live shows range from the ragingly powerful to goose bump
inducing intimacy, with Isobel's charismatic stage presence nodding
to the likes of Patty Smith and PJ Harvey. The duo's sound comes
with a razor edge masked in an aural rainbow of colours and
textures.
Their repertoire of quality material only lacks the comfortable
security of fitting into a genre, no inevitable blues or soul
template to follow just an honest re-imagining of folk.
