Good afternoon to you all! We bring news from the revolving doors of The Lighthouse.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an amended version of a very similar newsletter that I posted earlier today. Thanks to Paul Wood who noticed I has a couple of the days mixed up below!

Wednesday 23rd December

The Lighthouse Kitchen: The Cuisine Of Thailand

Serving from 7 - 9:30pm

Guest chef Paul Claydon will present a menu that celebrates the cuisine of Thailand.

Celebrating the mixed ethnic and religious communities of the country, the menu is inspired by regional ingredients and cooking methods. Meat and vegetarian options will be available.

We are now fully booked for food tonight, but do stop by and see us for a drink. We also have some tasty new wines in!

Saturday 26th December

Boxing Day Pub Night

Pub open from 5pm

The Hatton brothers will be staffing the bar for Boxing Day drink and socialising.

Come and check out a nice fresh selection of ales and beers and some new additions to the wine list!

Richard Bundy & The Christmas Hootenanny Band

LIVE MUSIC from Richard Bundy & The Christmas Hootenanny Band feat. guest singers and musicians.

Featuring our very own James Hatton in the drum seat!

Their sound can be described as a melting pot of jazz, hip-hop, poetry and melody. Richard tells of the beautiful and magical, inspired by his Guyanese, UK and Canadian roots.

As well as concentrating on his own music, Richard has recently toured with The Sugababes, Charlene Soraia supporting Emilie Sande and is Musical Director to triple platinum selling artist Marlon Roudette.

This week's service brings you ?

Leonie Evans

As well as fronting lots of musical projects, including her band Rae, Leonie is also an accomplished and enchanting solo performer.
Expect to hear her band's intricate and hypnotic compositions stripped back to stunning voice and guitar. Leonie also delves into blues and jazz history for a selection of intriguing covers.

REGGAE ROAST RETURNS!

We are pleased to announce the return of the Reggae Roast! Delicious tastes of the Caribbean mixed with the traditional English roast dinner, at an incredible price of ?7.50! Chef Tyrone will be serving you from 12pm. Relax and eat while enjoying some reggae tunes at a volume that is proven to aid digestion and stimulate taste buds.

This is to be a regular fixture as part of our weekly ?Sunday Service'. Leave the cooking to Tyrone and join us here!
