Long Nose Puppets presents

Flyaway Katie

Sun 24 Jan 2pm
Gulbenkian, Canterbury

By the makers of Shoe Baby, Penguin and Arthur?s Dream Boat, Long Nose Puppets return to Gulbenkian with new show Flyaway Katie on Sunday 24 January at 2pm.

Flyaway Katie is an inspiring flight of fancy about the power of imagination based on the popular children's book by Polly Dunbar with music by Tom Gray of Gomez.

Katie is all alone and feeling grey. The birds in the picture on her wall look so colourful-if only Katie could be as bright as them, who knows what might happen?  The show is bursting with colour, movement and surprises, with puppets of varying scales acting the story. The show is aimed at 2-7 year olds and will be 40mins plus 15 mins ?meet the puppets?.

'Magical and beautiful'   The Guardian

?The kids were captivated and the opportunity to meet the puppets at the end was enthusiastically taken up. This is the perfect show for children- colourful and imaginative.? The Argus, Brighton

Flyaway Katie will be at Gulbenkian on Sunday 24 January at 2pm.  Tickets are ?8, Family group (4+) ?6.50 and Baby on lap (0-18months) ?1. The show is suitable for ages 2+.  For more information and tickets please visit www.thegulbenkian.co.uk or call 01227 769075.
