Burns Night - Scottish Theme Night!

Open from 5pm // Ale Happy Hour 6-7pm // Burns Night from 8pm

This'll be an absolute hoot!

This night is traditionally known as a celebration of the life and work of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns. The Lighthouse plans to honour the occasion with music, haggis, whisky and fancy dress!

Graham Knibbs and Davey Slater from folk group Celtic Capers will be playing a selection of jovial traditional Scottish tunes, complete with a guest uilleann piper. You are also invited to witness the ?piping of the haggis': A theatrical ceremony, which involves an address to the aforementioned dish by guest master of ceremonies, Lord Gawain Douglas. The haggis will then be served up for whoever would like to try it.

A selection of discounted, quality whiskies will be available on the night.

Traditional and not-so traditional fancy dress is encouraged!

Friday 22nd January

We Ghosts

Open from 5pm // Ale Happy Hour 6-7pm // Live music from 8:30pm

FREE ENTRY

Comprising of English singer, songwriter and guitarist John Christopher and Swedish singer Jenny Jonasson (aka J.J.Woodall). They've enchanted audiences in both of their home countries, elsewhere in Europe and the U.S.

Their fine blend of vocal harmony plus punchy, rolling acoustic guitar rhythms make for a splendid live show worthy of any stage and their atmospheric, eerie and inventive recordings have been used in soundtracks as well having received frequent airplay.
