FEBRUARY 2ND ? KATHRYN ROBERTS & SEAN LAKEMAN
(
http://www.kathrynrobertsandseanlakeman.com/)

Kathryn first came to notice in a duo with Kate Rusby and Sean as one of the Lakeman Brothers. As a duo they play both traditional English folk and contemporary music, including their own compositions. Kathryn is a delightful singer who plays piano, flute, clarinet and sax. Sean is one of the finest guitarists and arrangers on the scene and often works with his brother, Seth Lakeman. They were voted best duo in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2013 and in the Spiral Earth Awards in 2015.

FEBRUARY 9TH ? BROOKS WILLIAMS
(
http://www.brookswilliams.com/)

Brooks Williams is from Statesboro, Georgia ? made famous by Blind Willie McTell in his song Statesboro Blues ? but these days is based in Cambridge, UK. Brooks is a stunning guitarist who plays blues-soaked, rhythmic, and soulful music. At the root of every riff is the blues, it informs everything he plays, sings, writes, and arranges. Brooks Williams is one of the most engaging performers on the scene today.

FEBRUARY 16TH ? THE LONG HILL RAMBLERS
(
http://www.longhillramblers.com/)

The Long Hill Ramblers? repertoire is drawn from among the finest traditional songs on both sides of the Atlantic and they offer clear, beautiful vocals, rich harmonies and virtuoso musicianship. Ben Paley has been called the best folk fiddler of his generation. Tab Hunter is a sparkling, understated guitarist. Dan Edwards (banjo) is the newest member of the group, replacing Dan Stewart. Laura Hockenhull is widely admired for her fine voice and interpretations of the songs.

FEBRUARY 23RD ? ALLAN TAYLOR
(
http://www.allantaylor.com/)

For over 40 years Allan Taylor has been the consummate performer, with his attractively dark and mellow voice, accompanied by his intricately detailed yet full-sounding guitar playing. Allan?s songs are drawn from a lifetime of travelling, always the observer passing through, and have been recorded by more than 100 other artists. As he says at the start of his concerts: ?sit back and enjoy the journey?.
