Oxjam is a music festival with a difference, and as
their Official Ticketing Partner since 2008 we're delighted to have
raised thousands for the cause - and helped recruit and train their
past Takeover teams.
Throughout the month of October hundreds of gigs will take place all
over the UK, all organised by amazing volunteers to raise money for
Oxfam. This year we're celebrating 10 years of Oxjam so it's
going to be bigger and better than ever!
|
|
The
centrepiece of the festival is the Oxjam Takeover Weekend, when 50
local music extravaganzas will rock towns and cities across the
nation. These incredible multi-venue events will bring together
100s of bands and artists and whole communities of music lovers in
order to showcase the very best of grassroots talent. Some of
the established Takeovers have as many as 12 venues, will raise at
least £10,000 a year, and have become the most hotly anticipated
events in their local area.

|
Oxfam are looking for dedicated and skilled volunteers
to manage these fantastic events. As a Takeover Manager, you
will recruit and inspire a team of volunteers to organise a series of
fundraising events, culminating in an Oxjam Takeover in your hometown.
It's an experience like no other...
