Subject: Fancy joining us for LUNCH at Le Q on SUNDAY 29TH MAY with by the WOODY GIPSY BAND from Milan?!

Hello lovely people,

Just a few last minute May events to shout about

I've just added five tickets to the Trio Manouche album launch this coming SUNDAY. They WILL sell, and so snap them up very quickly!

Following the album launch, on Monday 23rd, three of our esteemed musicians, Harry Diplock, Simon Moore and Eleazar Spreafico will be performing. Come and show your love for this trio!

On Sunday 29th May, we’ll be doing something slightly different! Variety is the spice of life after all! TWO amazing concerts in ONE day! From Italy, The Woody Gipsy Band will be joining us for a rare lunch time session. When they visited two years ago, we even had people sat on the floor they packed the venue out that much! We’re hoping to be a little more refined this time so why not join us for lunch and watch this fun, charismatic and energetic sextet. We’ll open the doors at noon but be sure to book in advance via www.quecumbar.co.uk/listings

In the evening of the 29th, one of Le Q’s favourites, ‘The Moscow Drug Club’ makes their annual pilgrimage to London. They really are something special and a ‘must see’ if either you have seen them before, or indeed haven’t. Take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tckR3GzoVrE . They’re here on Monday 30th too.

Finally advance warning, we close after Le Jam session on Tuesday 21st June for our own annual pilgrimage to Samois. We’ll re open on Thursday 30th, and Oriana & The Charmers will be here! But here’s a quick listing of the fun and frolics before we close:

Sun 5 June NELL & THE HOT MESS MUGGERS (first time at Le Q!)
Mon 6 June THE LATE SPRING RENDEZVOUS (the Thursday night extravaganza moves to a Monday)

Sun 12 & Mon 13 June THE GIN BOWLERS (first time at Le Q!)

Sun 19 June PAPRIKA! (omg, we’ll be busy!)

Mon 20 June UK MAIDEN TOUR OF THE HIPPOCAMPUS JASS GANG (supported by the UK Jazz Guide surely worth a visit?)

Oh, and after Samois on Sunday 3 July, TCHA LIMBERGER is here, with his KALOTASZEG TRIO!

See you soon, Steve and Le team
