Blackmore Gardens is the beating heart of the Children's Festival, where daytimes always provide a wonderful range of opportunities for fun and learning, with a superb line-up of talented young performers on the Garden Stage, exciting pop up ?happenings' and wonderful workshops in the children's marquees.
 
How about singing with Stream of Sound? Or getting creative in the Craft Carousel? Enjoy the idea of junk music making with Captain Sid & The Mouthy Pirates? Or bringing your instruments along to join the Sidmouth Seaside Stompers Ceilidh Band? For younger children, sessions for both 6 -7 year olds and for 5 years and under are available, including Crazy Crafts, Action Songs, Fun Percussion, Mini Crafts, Messy Crafts, and, new this year, Yoga and much, much more.
 
Providing quality entertainment for ALL AGES has always been the agenda at FolkWeek, and the fabulous Family Evening Shows on offer this year include a clown show, storytelling, a puppet show, a Sing-Along concert and a grand finale Evening Ceilidh.
