Subject: Rockin In The Chapel with Mr Beer & Co - TONIGHT
Hi Guys
Welcome welcome to those who signed up at the recent gigs. I hope you enjoyed
them. If you'd like a reminder, do check out the picture gallery on our
facebook page and also that of Martin Smith, who takes much better pics than
me. The pics of the Peatbog Faeries are almost as spectacular as the concert
itself.
I started writing this on a train heading home from The Convent, Stroud
yesterday, leaving Simon and the rest of Fairport to set off for Hay-on-Wye to
play at the festival. I wanted to mention this because The Convent is one of
the best venues/hotels/places I have ever been to and I would urge you all to
give it a try sometime. It really has to be seen/experienced to be believed.
All our favourite artists play there (and many more) and the accommodation,
hospitality, production, setting, decor etc etc... is superb. Add it to your
to do list, you won't regret it. The train ticket home to Canterbury was under
£20 as well!
So really this is just a reminder about this evening and the postponed Phil
Beer Band gig which will be at The Chapel, Canterbury Christ Church
University, doors 7.15pm for 8pm start. It's going to be stupendous. Phil on
electric guitar, a big sound and exciting light show as well! And we get to
see Emily Slade again! It has sold well and I'm so glad so many of you didn't
have to cancel when the date was changed. In face we've sold more tickets
than we had for last time, so every cloud etc.... We have a few left if
you're interested, so please just turn up, there'll be plenty of room, it will
be good to see you. It's a beautiful venue too, don't think cold old church.
It's a warm, contemporary, stunning room with comfy seats and room to dance,
and you can park right next to it. Info, map and directions etc here...

Don't forget - if you check online to book after about 2pm and the
Wegottickets site says 'tickets unavailable' it only means we've had to print
off the list. Unless the Folk in the Barn website or Facebook or Twitter says
SOLD OUT there will be tickets available on the door.
Cheerio for now
