FORTHCOMING GUESTS:

JUNE 7TH ? RPR (Canada)
(
http://www.rprmusic.com/)

Previously the rhythm section of Canadian band Tanglefoot, which had a huge presence and a loyal following throughout North America & Britain, Rob Ritchie, Al Parrish and Steve Ritchie, along with percussionist/singer/songwriter Beaker Granger, have re-connected as RPR. They have quickly re-established a reputation for thoughtful, intelligent lyrics, diversity of sound and, yes, lots of hair! Expect an evening of arresting music, stories, laughter, reminiscence and contagious energy.

JUNE 14TH ? PETE COE
(
http://www.backshift.demon.co.uk/home.htm)

Pete Coe has played a significant role in the British folk club scene since the 1970's. Some may recall him as a member of New Victory Band and/or Bandoggs. He sings and plays bouzouki, melodeons, banjo, Appalachian dulcimer and step percussion. He is a witty raconteur who performs very much in a traditional style, playing both his own material and traditional songs and tunes.

JUNE 21ST ? RORY MCLEOD & THE FAMILIAR STRANGERS
(
http://www.rorymcleod.com/rorymcleodstourdates.htm)

On his previous visits to Dartford, Rory Mcleod performed as a ?one-man soul band, poet and storyteller? (his own words), singing and using tap shoes, harmonica, guitar, trombone, spoons, and percussion. On this occasion, however, he is touring with his band bringing a musical depth and range to complement Rory's outstanding talents as wordsmith. The Familiar Strangers are: Diego La Verde Rojas (Columbian Harp, Cuatro), Bob Morgan (Clarinet, Saxophone) and Richard Sadler (Double Bass).

JUNE 28TH ? KIRSTY BROMLEY & LUCY WISE
(
http://www.kirstybromley.com/about-kirsty/ & http://www.lucywise.com.au/)

Kirsty Bromley is a young folk singer from Sheffield who performs both traditional and contemporary music. Her musical background includes choirs/ensembles, brass band and morris/rapper sword. She has a warm, and expressive voice and a charming personality as those who saw her at Broadstairs in 2015 will be able to attest.

Lucy Wise comes from SW Australia and is a singer-songwriter who has delighted audiences across Australia and the UK with her mix of folk, chamber and pop music, and her masterful storytelling. Her background is in Appalachian and Celtic music and her own songs draw inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan.
