Dear friends

 

I hope you're planning to come to Klezfest 2016. Now in Year 2 of our new incarnation, we have fabulous teachers, interesting classes and great events. If you're not already registered for some or all of the week, there's still time, as it all happens 15-19 AugustMore

 

Calling instrumentalists, dancers and listeners!

 

As well as a complete course for instrumentalists, this year we are proud to introduce 'Tants!', a dedicated Yiddish dance course taught by Guy Schalom, with live music every day. More

 

The 2016 faculty is:

 

Accordion: Alan Bern, Josh Middleton

Brass: Frank London (trumpet)

Drums, percussion & dance: Guy Schalom

Strings: Ilana Cravitz (violin), Francesca Ter-Berg (cello), Vanessa Vromans (violin)

Wind: Joel Rubin, Susi Evans, Daniel Gouly (clarinets)

Tuesday 16 August - Student Cabaret _at_ DLT, SOAS, Russell Square

 

Wednesday 17 August - Faculty Concert _at_ JW3. Book

 

Thursday 18 August - 'Biggest Klezmer Band in the World' _at_ DLT, SOAS, Russell Square, WC1H 0XG.
