THE FLATVILLE ACES
Featuring Jock Tyldesley on fiddle and Gavin Lewery on accordion, this band has one of the most authentic Cajun sounds outside of Louisiana. They have played all over the UK and Europe to great acclaim. So much like the real thing that they sound like they were all born on the bayou! Cajun pure and simple - an awesome, powerful, traditional dance machine!! We love them!

We thought you'd like to know about John Harris and his U.K. Cajun radio show  -
"Cajun Fais dodo" broadcast every Thursday 8 - 10 pm Hermitage 99.2 FM.
I have been doing the show for almost a year, as the station is big on specialized music shows. We (my wife Anne & I) started playing Cajun in the 1990's when we were in a country band and Anne wanted to play squeezebox as well as keyboards.Three years ago we decided to focus on live music and rekindled our love of Cajun. In addition to the radio show... we are 'Bosco Beret' and of course have the obligatory web site boscoberetcajun.co.uk & the FB page. I play guitar and do most of the vocals, Anne plays the boxes and does a few lead vocals plus all the backing vocals.
Best wishes John

It was a delight to have Lisa Trahan ..above.. play at The Cajunbarn last week with David Rolland, Pierre-Henri Pichot, Owen Hughes, Jock Tyldesley and Hazel Scott. Here's a great picture of Lisa with her dad Mr. Harry Trahan on the front porch of The Shuga Shack. The Shuga Shack, aka Frozard Plantation Cottage is a lovely authentic Cajun cottage in the grounds of The Frozard family farmhouse It's also a holiday rental with very good rates for Cajunbarners!. Have a look at the photos below, contact us for the full brochure. Lynne and Steve cajunbarn_at_outlook_dot_com
