Hello hello my fleeky cousins,
We hope to find you in fine fettle friends. Pray the lord granted
you a spooky
halloween. We've lost an hour of light from our evenings, but the
bright and crisp mornings are coming soon.
Some big news from one of our dear, dear chums - the one and
only Leonie
Evans. I think we mentioned before but I'll recap -
Leonie embarked on a mighty mooch around the country last
summer recording her new album, one track at a time, and each
in collusion with a different band/artist. The album is
called 'Collaborations:
Volume 1' and it's out, of all days, tomorrow.
The artists appearing on 'Collaborations' include members of The Evil Usses,
Cocos
Lovers, Flying
Ibex, Jouis,
Hot Feet,
Honeyfeet
and Syd
Arthur. I've just had a listen, and it's one
of those records that is so run through with beauty and joy and
brilliance that it makes you laugh. It's very good.
You can pre-order it HERE
