"They're excellent and I'm picky!"Sarah Savoy
join us for the authentic music of Louisiana's steamy swamps, bayous, back porches and dance halls with the wonderful Hotfoot Specials Big Band. Hot fiddles, Cajun accordion, and driving rhythm section, great to dance, great to listen to.
Accordionist and vocals Chris Murphy was born in Nashville, Tennessee to professional musicians. He lives in Sussex and became hooked on Cajun music years back .His band The Hotfoot Specials play the traditional music of Mark Savoy, Eddie Lejeune, Cory McCauley's Evangeline Aces and all the great Cajuns. We are pleased to welcome back this fab local band so laissez les bon temps rouler!
Chris is joined by Mary Murphy on t'fer, Kirsten Hammond fiddle, Grant Allardyce drums, Martin Brown guitar.
