Subject: Vote for us!

Dear Friends,

We have reached the second stage of the Aviva funding programme and need your votes to help us get to the final stage! It only takes a couple of minutes and it's for a good cause: if we succeed, we plan to open a community music centre in East Kent. This will be a place from which we can run workshops, projects and events for all the community. Please see below for more details and thank you for your time!

With best wishes,
The Music for Change Team

Community Music Centre

To mark our twentieth year (2017) we would like to open a community venue, where we can deliver regular music workshops and events for disadvantaged groups in the community in Margate, East Kent.

We have been working with the community in Cliftonville West, Margate, since 2012 when we began a project delivering free participatory music workshops there. Since the,n we have delivered a 12-week long music project with all ages, a 2-week summer holiday programme for children and young people, and we've set up a community choir which will run for 2 years.

We would use Aviva's funding to open a community arts centre where we would deliver weekly music-making sessions for people from diverse cultural backgrounds and for all ages.

Please click here to vote for our project.
