re-opens on January 8th with Delta Ladies
We are taking a
break over the festive season and hope you have a great time. We will
be back in January with The
Delta Ladies
The Delta Ladies
are regular favourites downstairs at the Rose & Crown, and put in a
great turn at our street party last summer.
So we're going to
kick off 2017 with a full evening featuring Vi Martin & Dee Stone
with the full band plus some special guests.
A brilliantly
entertaining mesmerising fusion of Roots, World, Folk and Blues rhythms
sometimes called "Hillbilly Trance", this will be the perfect
way to shake off the winter blues.
Also
in 2017
Upcoming guests for January and February are now listed at the club website, ticket
links for January and February are there now.
Tickets for guests from March onward will gradually appear at the wegot
tickets website over the next few days.
Admission
changes
The club has not
changed the basic admission price for some years now despite rising
costs and from 2017 we will need to increase the basic admission price
by ?1. We feel that this still represents excellent value for money
when compared with ticket prices for many other events. This will also
bring as into line with many other similar clubs and is still cheaper
than some others. The increase will enable us to continue to book the
best of the "Folk Scene" and also to feature the lesser known
artists whom we feel should get a wider hearing.
There will still be
occassional nights when there will be a higher charge but the majority
will be at the new basic price.
