Just in time for the festive season - a chance to take a look at
Broadstairs Folk Week 2017

A perfect gift for anyone who loves the festival, folk music or just having a great time with great people!

Everyone has a different Folk Week. For many people it's the smaller scale events that make the experience so enjoyable as well as the chance to meet some wonderful musicians and performers who are happy to share the atmosphere of the festival.

The Concert Tent arena has gone from strength to strength and thank you for all the compliments on our new lay-out and fantastic bar. It really is an oasis in the centre of town and the place to meet new friends and old.

Folk Week is lucky to have such lovely venues in town - the Pavilion on the Sands overlooking Viking Bay; the intimate Sailing Club; the friendly Baptist Centre - perfect for workshops and concerts and the festival campsite with great facilities such as the Dickens Theatre, the Panic Circus Tent, the Creative Tent, on-site catering, indoor loos and showers and a programme of events on the spot, including the social dances.

Participation is at the heart of Folk Week and we were really pleased with the popularity of the workshops in 2016 - singing, playing and dancing is what we are all about.

So have a browse through the programme and the links to the artists and musicians. There'll be more information on the website throughout the year and don't forget our Facebook  site too.

All combinations of Festival Tickets are on sale now - with individual tickets on sale later in 2017.

So the line-up so far for 2017 has some familiar names and some new ones that we think you will love discovering.
