FRIDAY 14th APRIL
ANGEL CAGE + POGGY HATTON
Open from 5pm // Live music from 8:30pm

A special double bill of live music!

Angel Cage describe their sound as "jazzy-dubby earworms performed with a punk attitude." The band is made up of singer/guitarist Jean Hare and drummer/programmer Robin Key. They have recently released an album with Kate Bush and Tricky producer Ian Caple.

Support on the night will come from Poggy Hatton. She'll perform a duo set along side drummer/percussionist James Hatton.

Kent based singer-songwriter and musician Poggy grew up in a family of six in Deal. Music filled the house during these early years and it was through playing piano and harmonising with her four sisters that her musical foundation was cast - Poggy's voice is like a raw element calling you back to the wild.

SATURDAY 15th APRIL
BIG BAD WOLF
Open from 5pm // Live music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY

The London based band's sound features washy guitars, ambient vocals, brassy hooks and deep grooves. Their distinctive sound arises largely from the band's consistently egalitarian process of group composition, where all four members are present from conception to completion of each song.

BBC Radio 3's Jez Nelson said, "I really like the kind of combination of lazy trombone and darting guitar riffs."

THE HEART COLLECTORS
Australian Folk group ?The Heart Collectors', transcend conventionality and genre with their old-school alternative folk sound, bringing back the sentimentality of 70's inspired harmonies, combined with a progressive lyrical wisdom to invite positive change.

THE MEDLARS
The Medlars are a seven piece contemporary folk band based in London. Their music is raw and rhythmically driven with orchestral and psychedelic undertones, layering melodies and harmonies to illuminate their political and socially conscious messages.

SAM BROTHERS
Rooted in the raw traditions of the travelling troubadour, his original compositions are delivered with a startling beauty. A fine guitar player with a truly wonderful voice.
