The
Lighthouse is proud to welcome five great acts featuring some
of the best established and up-and-coming comedians from
London, the South East and beyond.
Time Out magazine described headliner Masud Milas as "one laid back
cool cat, with sharp observations." Also performing
is Maggie Kowalski who is Comedy Store King Gong winner 2017,
plus Nick Elleray with a classy act, which turns the loud
Aussie stereotype on its head.
The line-up is completed with performances from James
Shakeshaft and Harriet Kemsley. Alternative poet Gary Studley
will compere the evening.

Blues Engine formed in London in September 2013,
and played their debut gig at Ronnie Scott's Club.
They describe the music they make as "a sound built of
the old machinery of the blues, but with funk and soul and rock
bolted on."
Fronted by Russian vocalist Katya Chernyakova, they have
recently been nominated for a UK Blues Award for Best Emerging
Artist.

On
Saturday the featured act will be Leisure Tank, a new DIY indie
rock power duo from London.
Female singer-songwriter and guitarist K.C. joined by Budi on
drums left Berlin, Germany, to form this vibrant rock band in
2014.
Leisure Tank is raw, minimalistic, analogue rock with
unpredictable song structures and heavy, danceable grooves.
K.C.'s voice and poetical lyrics have been compared to the
early PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi and Leslie Feist.

JOE JONES & THE MUSKETEERS

Joe
has gained a strong local reputation as a versatile and
engaging performer. The band features Phil Holmes on saxophone,
as well as David and James (The Hatton Brothers) as rhythm
section.
The show will feature a selection of Joe's own compositions,
plus some un-earthed gems from the past. Their rock ?n roll,
blues and country selections will make for an exciting and
thoroughly danceable occasion.
