The Oxbow Loop: Thanks to all who came to the square
dance workshop last weekend. If you would like to see the Oxbow
Loop being performed very slightly more professionally then please have

Workshops in Maidstone
2017 is the centenary of Pat Shaw's birth. As well as being an amazing
choreographer, Pat Shaw researched and interpreted dances from 17th,
18th and early 19th century Dancing Masters, including Playford of
course. He also researched traditional English dances collected in the
early 20th century.
To celebrate Pat Shaw's amazing work we are running a monthly series of
two-hour workshops on Sunday afternoons in Maidstone. While his
repertoire includes some simple dances, many of them have interesting
challenges, but they are all great fun.
