Just a reminder that the club is not open this Sunday as it's the May
bank holiday weekend. The club will, however. be involved in the annual
Stowathon hosted
by the Olde Rose & Crown pub -24 hours of FREE live music on
the May bank holiday, from Noon on Sunday through to Noon on
Monday. Drop in anytime over the 24 hours and there will be plenty
going on. The club will be on around mid afternoon Sunday. More info at

Fiddle-singers Rowan and Anna have gone
from 2016 BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Nominees for the Horizon prize for
best newcomers to establishing themselves as one of the most respected
duos on the scene.
Playing
traditional material as well as their own songs and compositions, in
addition to their duelling fiddles and voices, the guys play a rich
tapestry of banjo, bansitar, viola, kantele and other instruments.
But more than
that, they play it like they mean it.
