Message from John Edwards (Grand Old Opry):
Please note that we do not have an Orpy session on 30th May.
This is a 5th Tuesday for which we do usually just a social but on that
particular night we have a 'Younguns' night where players under the age of '30'
can come and play. It will be an interesting experiment and will see if it
helps generate new young players.
On Friday 23 June Hilary Gowen and Jimmy Lin will be playing
at a special concert at the Liberal Club Orpington. They will do a half hour
set, followed by Tony Field (fab voice in similar vein to Glen Campbell) and
then followed by the really wonderful Ado Matheson, Scottish singer/songwriter
(akin to Dougie Maclean)
Jimmy (and possibly Hilary) will be accompanying Tony and Ado in
their sets. Will be a great night!
