Dutch
artist Friction is known for his irresistible and powerful
fusion of Reggae, African and Carribean sounds, and for his
unforgettable live performances.
Together with his band The Roots Drivers, he has visited many
far-flung corners of the globe through extensive touring.
Since he was little, Friction was listening to records his
father played and soon he composed his own music in a local
language called ?Hausa'. From age 12, he took every chance he
got to perform during ghetto parties, in rap battles and radio
stations.
