Oxjam 2017 is just days away!
Oxjam is the UK's largest grassroots music festival,
and we're proud to have been their ticketing partner since 2008 -
donating around ?10,000 to the cause, raising almost ?50,000 more
through donations on our site, and helping to recruit and train the
volunteer event organisers that put on the Oxjam Festivals each
year.
As October and the start of Oxjam 2017 is fast approaching, we've
picked out some choice Oxjam tidbits for you - including news of
Keiran Hebden donating the first 1000 copies of the new Four Tet
album to Oxfam, a selection of the best Oxjam festivals coming up
around the UK, and a photo gallery from the latest Oxjam Session
with Danny and the Champions of the World.

We've been
working with Oxjam since 2008 so perhaps we sometimes take it for
granted that everyone knows as much about the Festival as we do. To
help you understand what great work they do, supporting your local
music scene with their Festivals and other live events, all the
while raising money for Oxfam to help end poverty, we asked them

Keiran
Hebden (better known as Four Tet) has been a long time supporter of
Oxfam - we remember seeing him play a brilliant set at
an Oxjam launch show at the Oxfam shop in Dalston all the way
back in 2012. Now, he's donated the first 1000 copies of his new
album to Oxfam, which, let's face it, is an incredible gesture. The vinyl
has sold out, but if you want to be among the first to get your hands

Oxjam Sessions: Danny and the Champions of the
World

|
|
October may
be officially Oxjam month, but there's gigs and events happening
already, and last weekend the brilliant Danny and the Champions of
the World surprised the Geordies amongst you by playing the latest
Oxjam Session at the Oxfam shop on Percy Street, Newcastle. Check the

gallery, including one that suggests Danny got to rummage
through the vinyl that hadn't made it out of the stock room yet
